There’s a lot going on in Schöneweide, the once ultra-modern “Chicago on the Spree”, also known as the historic “Silicon Valley”. Today, high-tech companies and the Berlin University of Applied Sciences continue the great tradition at the location. In search of the solution word, participants explore the former founding center of Berlin’s electrical industry on their own.
You will get to know the former car factory and explore hidden places. Finally, there will be an award ceremony with small gifts in the industrial salon. The tasks are suitable for project work – they are based on the teaching content of the STEM subjects.
All year round
Meeting point: gateway at the Peter Behrens building (after consultation with the Industriesalon)
Price: 5€ per TN (and by arrangement)
Duration: approx. 2 hours + award ceremony
